Our PROGRAMS

Tiny tigers

Children ages 3 to 6 love to run, jump, and play. They are fireballs of energy! With that in mind, our Tiny Tiger program is designed to channel that energy and teach focus, coordination, listening skills, and confidence. Classes are both structured and fun. Energetic children will enjoy burning off some of that extra energy; more passive children will have an opportunity to come out of their shells.

Traditional Youth Karate

We equip youth ages 6 to 17 with the confidence to defend themselves using street-ready techniques. Simultaneously, we build the confidence and life skills they need to:

  • Understand they have real value as persons
  • Say “no” to peer pressure
  • Walk away from conflict
  • And much, much more

self defense

Our supportive, structured environment will give you a new sense of empowerment and confidence. You will be more capable of handling an assault; at the same time you will learn how to avoid one in the first place. While most participants enjoy developing the skills necessary to perform complicated moves like a jump spin kick, others prefer a more simplistic approach to the defensive arts. This program is geared towards anyone over the age of 15 who is searching for ways to be their own protection.

Bully Prevention

Our mission and the mission of MAAB is to educate, inform, and help eradicate bullying. We are pleased to offer an anti-bullying outreach program with the goal of minimizing the effects of predatory behavior in grade school and middle school-aged children. Using role playing, small group discussions, and empathy training, we can help children of all ages overcome the negative impact of bullying.

Our Tournament Team — Stars & Streaks

Be a part of the competition

Compete against other schools and strive to be number one. State, national, and world champions have been trained in our Academy.

Face your Fears and emotions

Tournaments are a great opportunity to face your fears in a controlled environment. If you can perform in front of a crowd, other things in life seem easier in comparison.

extra practice opportunities

Once a part of the team, take advantage of extra Tournament Team practices. Develop your skills faster with extra practices.

Inspire & Motivate

Nothing helps boost your moral and work ethic quite like the determination caused by failure. If you put a high value on winning, this will boost your overall training work ethic.

Community

Aside from the atmosphere of being a part of Team DMC as a whole, something can be said for being a part of the tournament team group. Lifelong friendships have come from those on the team, and the extra practices bring everyone together.

Affordable

Being a part of the team comes with fund raising opportunities. Your level of commitment during these times can result in every tournament being covered by the team. We strive to make participation both fun and affordable.
